How we handle your data

Plain English. No legalese.

What we collect

When you submit a Strongly Report intake, we receive: your name, work email, optional phone, role, organization name, country, industry, and the contents of the intake form. We log your IP address and user agent for abuse protection. If you upload a document (plain text or markdown), we store it during the review window.

What we do with it

  • Verify your email by sending you a magic link.
  • Run automated industry research using web search tools. Research findings are stored alongside your submission so a senior engineer can verify them before approval.
  • Generate a draft report tailored to your submission, reviewed by a Strongly engineer.
  • Email you the final report as a PDF attachment.
  • If your situation is a fit, include a free 30-minute consultation offer in the email.

What we do not do

  • We do not train AI models on your submission.
  • We do not share your submission with third parties.
  • We do not use your submission for marketing or send unrelated emails.

How long we keep it

  • We retain your submission for up to 72 hours after delivering your report, then we purge personally identifying information.
  • If you click "Interested in a free consultation" in the email, we extend retention until 30 days after the consultation.
  • After purge, we keep only anonymized analytics: engagement type, persona, ICP score, normalized industry, timestamps. No PII.
  • If you do not click the verification link, the submission is automatically purged after 7 days.

Right to deletion

You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing support@strongly.ai with the submission ID shown on your verification confirmation page.

Security

Submissions are stored in our portal database encrypted at rest. The verification token is hashed (SHA-256); the raw token is only sent to you in the verification email and is never recoverable from our database. Your IP is replaced with a one-way hash on purge.

Abuse protection

We screen submissions for prompt-injection patterns and other abuse. Submissions that fail the screen are rejected and logged for forensic purposes. Legitimate submissions never trip this screen.
